President Obama will travel to Indonesia, three days after the due date 21 departing March 18 instead of in an attempt to move the stalled health care legislation through Congress the White House said. The President will delay his departure for Indonesia and Australia - will leave on Sunday - the first lady and girls will not be on the trip press secretary Robert Gibbs tweeted- Friday morning. The White House in September / 18 September March was the deadline for the House of Representatives to complete the work in the health care bill, so that can be finished by the time Obama left the country. But Democratic leaders in the House and Senate have refused to meet the deadline. Obama may struggle mightily to get Congress to pass the health care bill which was at the top of his legislative priorities when he took office. The transition from the legislation through the House of Representatives and the Senate is expected to start on Monday in the Budget Committee in the House of Representatives.
